Speaking at the distribution event for the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam’ programme, which provides Rs 1 lakh financial aid to civil services aspirants, the Chief Minister emphasized that Telangana is setting a benchmark for recruitment efficiency and governance.
“The state government has already filled 55,143 posts across various departments in its first year in power. This is unprecedented in the country. Telangana has emerged as a model for the nation,” he said, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.
Reddy highlighted his government’s efforts to overcome long-standing challenges, pointing out that Group 1 exams had not been conducted for 14 years. Under his leadership, the exams were successfully held, and 563 Group 1 posts were filled.
